How It All Began
Every love story is beautiful, but ours is our favourite. What began as a chance encounter at a Lagos tech conference grew into a friendship, then a love we never saw coming — and now, a lifetime we cannot wait to begin together.
"I knew from the moment I met her that she was something different. Not because of what she said, but because of how she made me feel — like every ordinary moment suddenly mattered."
— Emmanuel
On 18 October 2026, surrounded by family and friends, we will stand before God and promise each other forever. This website is our way of bringing you along on every step of the journey.
The Two of Us
The Groom
Emmanuel is a software engineer from Onitsha, Anambra State. He is the first son of Chief and Mrs. Anthony Obi. Warm, witty, and fiercely loyal, Emeka fell in love with Amara long before he had the courage to say it.
The Bride
Amara is a marketing strategist from Enugu State. She is the beloved daughter of Elder and Mrs. Chukwudi Eze. Creative, kind, and endlessly optimistic — she is the light that changed Emmanuel's world forever.
Our Journey
March 2022
Emmanuel and Amara met at a technology summit at Eko Convention Centre, Lagos. He asked to borrow her pen. She told him a man his age should come prepared. They laughed, exchanged numbers, and argued about jollof rice on the car ride home.
July 2022
For four months they talked every day — early mornings, late nights, through board meetings and traffic jams on the Third Mainland Bridge. Neither admitted what the other already knew. They were the best of friends.
December 2022
At a Christmas gathering in Enugu, Emmanuel met Amara's family for the first time — not as a boyfriend, but as a friend. Her mother pulled him aside and said, "You look at her like she hung the moon." He did not deny it.
February 2023
On Valentine's Day, Emmanuel showed up at Amara's office with roses she had mentioned once in passing. He said six words: "I don't want to be just friends." She said yes before he finished the sentence.
April 2025
On a quiet evening at Bar Beach, Lagos, Emmanuel got down on one knee as the sun dipped into the Atlantic. He had been carrying the ring for three months, waiting for the perfect moment. Amara said yes through happy tears, and the strangers around them cheered.
October 2026
And now, after four years of laughter, growth, and love that grows deeper every day, Emmanuel and Amara will stand before God, family, and friends to make it official. The best chapter is just beginning.
